Based on a few reviews that I read, I wasn’t expecting much from the hotel. It is located not far from Highway 1 and is maybe 10 minutes from downtown Monterey and Cannery Row and close to the airport. I was pleasantly surprised starting at check-in as the clerk Michellie was very helpful and it was quick. Room 133 is a handicapped accessible room with a parking spot and ramp just outside the door. Inside, the room has a lot of space with simulated wood flooring, no carpeting so it can be slick if wearing socks. The king bed was very firm but comfortable. It had 4 pillows, which are small as you can see in the pictures. There is a small refrigerator in the corner with a microwave and coffee maker on top. The 39” tv is on top of the dresser and the desk is to the side. The bathroom is tile floored with a walk-in shower. The shower has a wall mounted bench and the shower wand is on an adjustable rail went at least 6-6” high as I’m 6-5 and had no problem. My wife sat on the bench to shower and lowered it to about 3 feet or so. Outside and across the parking lot was a vending area with the ice machine, a soda machine and a snack machine nearby a little courtyard. Coffee and water for tea is available in the lobby. Just up the lot from the courtyard was a bigger area where I saw a gas bbq along with tables if you want to grill your own dinner. Some reviewers mentioned plane noise from the nearby airport but we only heard maybe 3-5 over our two day visit and none were late night. Overall I was happy with the facility and would stay there again. If I had a complaint at all, it would be that they want to charge anywhere from $25-50 for checking in prior to 4pm. We arrived at about 3:30 and were able to get in quickly with no added fee. Check-out is 11am and if you want a later check-out, that can also cost you an additional $25. They’ll send you a text link asking if you want a later Checkout time and if not, an estimate of when you will check out.

I think all the motels on this strip are all similar in layout and concept, its the management and decor that makes any difference. This hotel has very nice decor, and extra effort was put into appearances and small amenities, like really nice soap, great charging station near the bed, ample bathroom space. It was comfortable and quiet. I like the blue color themes and the grounds are well kept. I appreciated the free cold water available in the lobby. Wifi was fine. Rooms are very clean. Appliances are new. Fridge is spacious but no freezer compartment which was an issue for me as I travel with items that need to be kept cool so I have chemical ice packs that need to refreeze.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was perfect, and it came with a fridge and microwave. We only stayed one night but would be great for multiple day stays. We even used the BBQ area for dinner which was great and very quiet didn't hear anything in our room from the people around us. Had an ice machine and a vending machine but the vending machine was out of order. Coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby were great we were up and out of the hotel by 630 in the morning but they had the lobby closed only downfall would be it would be nice to have that available for early risers but other than that it was a very nice stay!

we loved the beautiful grounds with all the flowers, pretty trimmed trees, and succulent plants. The outside of property is beautiful at night with lights strung up through the bushes and trees. They also have a BBQ grill and nice seating area outside if you want to cook something while you are there. The staff is really friendly and professional. We did have a couple of issues with our room, but the staff took care of it right away. I want to thank Mr. Samir, Oscar, Chrissy, and Ritish for their kindness and seeing to our needs during our 3 night stay. We will be coming back to stay here in the future. 😊

Excellent location to stay mobile - right off the highway, made it easy to get into Cannery area and Big Sur. No frills, but friendly front desk with clean water and coffee machine. For a group of 6 friends zipping about, this place was affordable and great! Reviewers complain a lot about airplane noise but I didn't hear a single one over two nights. I expected to dislike the place, but found it pleasant overall.
